Worship
We have all been created to glorify and worship God and to enjoy Him forever.
Worship is the key component of everything we do at Minnesota Valley Church, but there are certain things we do are primarily focused on worship.
Each Sunday at 10:30 am we gather for worship.
Some Sundays we have less than 100 people join in worship, some Sundays there are more. The families usually prefer to have their children be a part of the service, but child care is available in the nursery up through age 5. We appreciate the diversity that God has created in our congregataion. We have children, teens, young adults, singles, families, grandparents, and great grandparents that worship together. We typically have both visitors and people with a long connection to the congregation. There are people whose native languages include Arabic, Cantonese, Nuer, Denka, Swahili, Portugese, Spanish, and course English. We have those that have strong marriages and some that are still reeling from the effects of divorce. Many have gone through tremendous financial challenges, some people are hurting physically or emotionally, yet thankfully everyone seeks to care. Are we a perfect group? No. But we worship a God who is, and that makes all the difference.
Each Wednesday during the school year we also gather for worship as a part of the Wednesday night activities. Following our community meal which is served from 5:45 – 6:30 pm, we spend some time in worship. We actively involve children in the worship and it is called Worship on Wednesday (WOW). Following the worship we have classes for all ages to recharge people in their faith.
